This is going to be my TBR for Bout of Books 15.0 and the #AYearAThon Benchwarmers read-a-thon. Since these two read-a-thons overlap (both take place from January 4-10), most of these books will serve to be read during both read-a-thons.
- Half Bad by Sally Green (Bout of Books 15.0 + #AYearAThon)
Half Bad is a book that’s been on my bookshelf for a few months now- I received it for my birthday back in November, and I think these read-a-thons would be a perfect time to get to them.
- I Am Malala: The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban by Malala Yousavzai (Bout of Books 15.0 + #AYearAThon)
I Am Malala is a book that’s really been on my bookshelf for a while- I’ve been wanting to read it for so long, but have just never gotten around to it. I’m really excited to read it and learn more about Malala’s story, as she’s someone I’ve seriously admired for years now.
- All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr (Bout of Books 15.0 + #AYearAThon)
All the Light We Cannot See is a book that I’ve attempted to begin so many times now- for some reason, I’ve never been able to get past the first 20 pages, so I’m hoping that this’ll be the time where I can finally finish it, since I’ve heard such amazing things about this book and have been wanting to read it for so long.
- Palo Alto by James Franco (Bout of Books 15.0)
Palo Alto hasn’t been on my bookshelf for as long as the other books on this list, but I’ve still been wanting to read it as a part of Bout of Books 15.0. The book and movie are some of my best friend’s favorites (she’s the one who sent the book to me for Christmas), so I’m really excited to be able to read it.
These are all my books on my TBR for the two read-a-thons!! I tried not to overwhelm myself, as I want to be sure that I can actually finish all the books on my TBR.
